You will never receive a diagnosis from a machine. What our technology does is organize your information and prepare a proposal that the doctor reviews with their own judgment. The clinical decision, the diagnosis and the prescription always come from a licensed doctor, and nothing reaches you without their decision.
How you can check it yourself
- Every prescription carries the full name of the doctor who signed it.
- It carries their professional license number, which you can look up yourself in Mexico's National Registry of Professionals (Registro Nacional de Profesionistas).
- It carries the doctor's signature and a verification QR code: scan it and confirm that the prescription is authentic and who issued it.
And your data
Your health information is among the most sensitive there is. It is encrypted, we do not sell it, and we do not share it with pharmacies or anyone else without your permission. You can ask us to delete it whenever you want.
The assistant only guides. The clinical decision always belongs to a licensed doctor.
We earn the same whether you get a prescription or not.
Our doctors are paid for seeing you, not for prescribing. None of them earns more by prescribing more medication, or if you buy it at one pharmacy or another. If your case is resolved without medication, it is worth exactly the same to us.

When can I use it?
Any time. Licensed doctors are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. At three in the morning with a feverish child, there is still someone on the other side.
Will the pharmacy accept the prescription?
Yes. It carries the doctor's name, their professional license, their signature and a verification QR code.
How do I know the doctor is real?
We verify every doctor's professional license. You can also look it up yourself in Mexico's National Registry of Professionals.
What if I need a specialist or tests?
The doctor tells you and points you to where to go. We don't leave you halfway.
Can I use it for my children or my mother?
Yes. From your account you can get care for anyone who lives with you, each with their own history.
Do you prescribe antibiotics?
Only if the doctor considers it necessary, using their own judgment and professional responsibility. Never automatically.
Do you prescribe controlled medications?
No. Those require an in-person visit and a special prescription form.
What happens to my data?

Our goal is for a doctor to take your case in under 15 minutes. The visit lasts as long as it needs to: the doctor already arrives with your information organized, so the time goes to you and not to paperwork.
Will I talk to the doctor?
The doctor reviews your full case and decides with their own judgment. If they need to go deeper or rule out a doubt, they request a video call and you decide whether to accept. If your case is clear, your prescription arrives on your phone with no call needed.
Do you make money if I get a prescription?
No. We charge for the visit, whether you get a prescription or not, and the doctor is paid for seeing you, not for prescribing.
How do I pay?

Why does it cost more than the pharmacy clinic?
Counting the round-trip fare, it comes out to practically the same. What changes is that you don't lose one to three hours between the trip and the wait, and that at eleven at night, with a feverish child, they have already closed and we have not.
Who's behind it
We are a team from Mérida that lived the same scene too many times: the middle of the night, the fever, the line, and the pharmacy that did not have what the prescription said. Before writing a line of code we sat down with patients and doctors from here, and we built DrA24 with what they told us.
